Amongst the exceptional talents who played that night was the cuban pianist Alfredo Rodriguez (www.alfredomusic.com). Gifted musician, he was selected in 2006 at the piano competition of the Montreux Jazz Festival (www.montreuxjazz.com). There, he met the legendary producer Quincy Jones, who is immediately seduced by his talent : "He is very special and I do not say that easily because I have been surrounded by the best musicians in the world my entire life and he is one of the best." Rodriguez left Cuba for the United States in 2009. He recorded an album on Quincy Jones' Label "Qwest Records", te be released in 2010.
