First woman to win this prize, the Cuban pianist has been invited to perform a Solo Piano recital for the project "Da Montreux a Milano. Jazz per piano solo", a new collaboration between the MITO and the Montreux Jazz Festival.
Born in Havana in 1983, Marialy Pacheco is already considered as one of the most talented musicians of her generation. Her music is a delicate balance between jazz, traditional Cuban music and her classical background.
She already has several concerts planned - solo or with her trio - in many jazz events in Europe and Australia.
"Da Montreux a Milano. Jazz per piano solo": Wednesday, September 19 at 22:00 at the Teatro Out Off
