Considered as "one of the most engaging entertainers on earth" by the Philadelphia Daily News, Trombone shorty is currently in a the midst of a spectacular Worldwide Tour.
With his latest album For True - released mid-september 2011- he has topped the Billboard Contemporary Jazz Charts for the 6th week now and has gathered praise from Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, NPR and CNN, to name a few. The whole music press snaps him up: he will be the cover story of DownBeat Magazine (December 2011) and will also be seen on the cover of Jazziz Magazine.
This year, Trombone Shorty & his Orleans Avenue fellows made a very appreciated visit in Montreux. On July 6th, they completely set the Miles Davis Hall on fire during an awesome performance that let the entire audience amazed! (watch the pictures)
